Smoke was rising from the cover of the ditch. I thought someone might have dropped a cigarette in there, but then I saw dry ice floating a little further ahead.

Today I got up an hour before sunrise to look for a rare bird. Only-a-handful-that-look-like-this-in-the-world-now rare.

All the reports made it seem like a simple walk in the park. Literally. They all said it's in a parking lot
