I was merely making a suggestion. It seems you have something to showcase. As you said you’re made some allies in bushfire brigades. So much knowledge has been lost that as a country we need to inform and empower people.

Our Nation's Pedestrian Safety Crisis Walking is one of the most basic ways to get from place to place. In the U.S., more than a quarter of all trips are less than one mile, and many of those are made by walking. Many choose to walk becau...

It’s important to work with fire brigades to spread awareness. Try holding a field day with brigades from your region with talks from botanists and ecologists who can explain the role of smoke in the germination of some species, patch burning etc. Show them what you’ve done.

I wasn’t trying to be comprehensive, it was just an example and I agree with you. I’ve seen it done properly and badly, including lighting fires in strong dry winds. Wetlands, grasslands, wet sclerophyll on the western rainforest margins in the wet tropics etc. require different regimes.

Which takes research and implementation is more labour intensive than large scale hotter burns which take out the wetter gullies that are meant to provide a refuge.

Labor has a long running love affair with the coal
mining industry. Massive tax-payer handouts to the Adani crime family by the former Qld Labor
government. Tanya approving new coal
mines on the basis that they were extensions of existing minesβ€”both the industry & Qld Govt classified them as new.

True to a point but we need real on the ground action to control feral animals and pest plants. We need fencing to protect threatened species from predators. Tree clearing laws are easily overturned. Secure conservation tenure is harder to remove.

Take her name and those of the university administration. They should be put on trial for collaboration with the unlawful actions of the fascists when fascism is defeated.

Figure shows 5G+ coverage. Town selected was Mansfield. Probably only one or two towers near Mansfield support 5G +.

One of the issues in Indi is telecommunications. Like
most of us they’ve been screwed over by the NBN and closure of the 3G network for over-hyped and illusory 5G and 5G+ services. However they are served better than other parts of rural Australia. Figure shows 4G coverage.

We need politicians with a brain and a heart. These are things she’s asked the Federal Treasurer to do for Indi.

That wasn’t anywhere as technologically demanding or as energy intensive. Apart from that, Trump’s regime is anti-science and it will take
decades to rebuild science once he’s gone.

Message to My American Viewers
YouTube video by Jim's Radio Shop Message to My American Viewers

Just stumbled on this brutal gutpunch of a video:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSq6...

I've trained The Algorithm to show me stuff like thisβ€” randos working on projects and showing them to you? I've never seen this channel but I've seen a dozen like it. Dude fixes radios. The video is not about radios.

Yes YouTube has been promoting a lot of right wing channels lately. one day seemed like wall-to-wall Musk fan boys.

Your story should be sent to every Tasmanian parliamentarian to remind them of this disgrace.

Boycott all things American and press for stronger domestic laws on social media. Demand that Truth Social and X be banned in your jurisdiction.

Watch this video to see Musk make grandiose claims about people having anything they want because of his robots. No one should believe his grandiosity. It’s a sign of a mental pathology.

β€˜Optimus will be the biggest product of all time by far’. His cult members may believe this crap but how can ordinary people afford a robot? Some 11.1% were living in poverty in 2023. This figure will rise dramatically under Trump and Musk (though no doubt they will cook the books).

Twenty pedestrians are killed each day on US roads. The motor vehicle fatality rate is 3–6 times higher than most western countries. It’s a very backward country.

Using Apple’s disingenuous logic no Apple device would be allowed to pair with 3rd party devices because this would hinder Apple’s ability to innovate.

Nice piece. If you did make another one, instead of investing in a router bit you could take a bit of metal off the sides of the c-channel with a bench grinder to make fitting easier.

The Australian Cancer Atlas shows a slight decrease in the rate of new brain cancer diagnoses between 1996 and 2019. If cell phones were so dangerous the incidence rate would be increasing.
