Opinions needed!

Lets set up a game event in the village. Lets just fundraise, run it for a day in the centre, then have a chill day afterwards, just for gaming and snacks. 1st day: buying, meeting, playing. Local horror stories on the night.

2nd day: chill out, games, movies, community food.

It has now been sent. I hope the people who went this year will consider avoiding them for their behaviour, and go to some cool local ones instead!

We are already helping several employees sue employers for enforcing the EHRC Interim Guidance, which *we think* is unlawful. Should the High Court agree, we plan to make available in generic form, for free, and in a usable state, all the legal materials a trans employee needs to sue their employer.

Might make a medium one in the village. We're not far from Durham, we have 2 halls with a bar and a massive outdoor area, haunted woods, public transport, cheap camping and hotel spots, cracking pubs - there's a lot to like. It's just getting the funds and people together.

IKR, I was really looking forward to going. There'd have been me with my artist table, the collabs table and the 2 Indie Hub tables, all gone now.

Unfortuantely, I think the only thing we can start doing is abandon the big cons and make lots of small to medium ones ourselves.

It's crazy - I work with Kickstarters, I'm even willing to be paid *if* it succeeds and take the risk. There's a few artists who do.

Then there's these arseholes who just want to go up to the Mona Lisa, cut off her cheek, pritt-stic it to a canvas and go "money" at people.

Message to UK Game Expo: Hi, I was looking to book tables and previously emailed about it - please remove my details. As an artist who works across the ttrpg, art and comic spaces, I cannot in good conscience provide funds to an organisation that is willing to support the sort of people willing to steal my work, and the work of others. I've been part of many Kickstarters and individual projects, that made less than the AI slop games - it was still enough to get paid and create a beautiful game book. That you've shown yourselves willing to cause harm to ttrpgs as a whole, in order to support people who view ttrpgs as nothing but 'product', shows that you no longer care about the scene. I sincerely hope you gain some basic decency in future.

Is this spelled correctly folks? Shame UKGE don't really seem to care about ttrpg players and creators anymore. Saves me about 2k in tables for other places though.
