I feel like this information is not very well publicized.

We should initiate a movement to get as many people as possible to reduce federal withholding to $0 and switch that amount to direct deposit into a personal savings account.

Is it really a simple thing to do?

I don’t know how this would work. My employer withholds all taxes (fed/state) & presumably they send withholdings to the fed/state treasuries.

Can states pre-empt federal tax withholdings?

Wouldn’t individual taxpayers still be on the hook either way?

I like the idea. Not sure how it would work.

This is a win-win for the Regime.

They carry out these operations with 2 goals:

Fair enough. I’ve been aware of him since his first days in congress & eventually attempting to primary Trump ahead of the 2020 election. Admittedly hadn’t read his bio myself.

Whatever his faults, he at least seems to have principles which he rightly recognized made him incompatible with the GOP.
