First thing my mom did when she saw me today was hand me an envelope with βimportant papersβ inside.
Long story short I now have the hospital bracelet I was given when I was born and the hair from my first hair cut.

New Yorker. Dog person. Tea drinker. Scone lover. Avid reader. Running machine. A f--king delight.

Hold up! George Washingtonβs dentist made him dentures out of a combination of human and horse teeth, and ivory from a hippopotamus?!?
I fucking love Ken Burns documentaries. π€©
This movie is one of my favorites! I remember being a kid, with a piece of paper, and mapping out the solution to the water bottle situation so I could properly understand it.
10.11.2025 18:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I went to this exhibit in Toronto 5 years ago and it was magical. I couldn't stop smiling. It was probably a bit weird for the guy I was with, but I didn't care. I was in heaven. I'd happily sit at this man's feet and listen to him tell stories.

Are we allowed to nominate all the facial hair in Death By Lightning for a Best Actor award?
09.11.2025 23:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Does Max offer personal shopping services? Because he really does have the best wardrobe.
05.11.2025 00:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How is my Friday going? I just grinded my teeth into a headache.
The weekend can't start soon enough for me.
My timeline is just loaded with Comey news. But in the midst of all that, was this gem from @theferocity.bsky.social
You make this world a better place, sir! π
Today, my trainer told me my squats are looking really good. And for the first time in my life I didn't flinch or think about my "fat ass." I thought about my progress, and how strong my legs are, and how I want to lift more and more weight.
And, that my friends, is an incredible feeling.
May I be so bold to recommend A Physical Education by @caseyjohnston.bsky.social I found it to be very inspirational when it comes to weight lifting.
08.09.2025 23:04 β π 22 π 2 π¬ 3 π 0Was feeling down, so I decided to go out for a night time walk. I saw the moon and stopped in my tracks. It was the first time I felt better today. ππ©·
06.09.2025 01:04 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I feel like we, as a society, have let you down. For all of the great recommendations you make to all of us, someone should have pointed this movie out to you. If only for those muscles and slutty little glasses.
01.09.2025 01:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just finished @caseyjohnston.bsky.social βs book A Physical Education. Incredible read! I started lifting weights and working with a trainer 8 months ago, and this book has given me so much motivation and encouragement to just keep at it. Even when I fall on my ass pulling a sled across the room.
31.08.2025 17:49 β π 16 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0I've always liked the crop art photos you post from the fair every year. But it wasn't until I saw crop art for the first time in person at MSP this past March when I discovered I *LOVE* crop art.
This medium is definitely meant to be seen in person.
I have stayed up until 3am to finish it. Thank YOU for writing and sharing it with the world. Cary and Shiloh will stick with me for a long time. π©·
(And the parts about Ralph Nader had me howling with laughter)
I'm currently reading a book that makes my heart squeeze. I get so invested in the characters and story, and it feels real, and when something super emotional happens, *SQUEEZE.* β€οΈ
I love that feeling. It's why I love reading.

18.08.2025 22:25 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm not able to make it to the NYC event, BUT YOU SHOULD IF YOU CAN! I've pre-ordered my copy from my local indie bookstore and can't wait to read it!

She is the reason why I picked up Manhunt. You are the reason why I read Cuckoo and just picked up my copy of Black Flame. Horror isn't what I gravitate to naturally, but I'll always pick up one of your books...and try not to read them before bed :)
13.08.2025 03:03 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You are so blessed to have such a handsome void in your sitting room β€οΈ
08.08.2025 17:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes. Yes it is.
06.08.2025 18:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Update: Said local indie bookshop just informed me my books are ready to pick up, AND they are having a Romance Book Swap this weekend.
I guess I'm going to have to pick up my books on that day and participate.
I got a $150 rebate when I bought my contact lenses recently, but the rebate came in the form of a "virtual credit card." I can't put that on my credit card to help pay for those contact lenses, which is annoying.
But I did just buy $113 worth of books at my local indie bookshop for pickup later π
I beg to differ! Look at that perfect positioning! The solid 90 degree angle! Boswell is an artist!

Today is the kind of day I wish I could have a dog in my apartment.
03.07.2025 18:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mrs Basil E Frankweiler changed me as a child! I was at an amusement park when I was a preteen, and actually got into a conversation with another preteen ahead of me in line about this book. It was the first time I'd met someone who knew what I was talking about.
27.06.2025 16:20 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I watched this last night and that's all I could think about. The documentary had so many angles to shift through, but THAT right there is what stuck with me.
