I went to this exhibit in Toronto 5 years ago and it was magical. I couldn't stop smiling. It was probably a bit weird for the guy I was with, but I didn't care. I was in heaven. I'd happily sit at this man's feet and listen to him tell stories.

Today, my trainer told me my squats are looking really good. And for the first time in my life I didn't flinch or think about my "fat ass." I thought about my progress, and how strong my legs are, and how I want to lift more and more weight.

And, that my friends, is an incredible feeling.

May I be so bold to recommend A Physical Education by @caseyjohnston.bsky.social I found it to be very inspirational when it comes to weight lifting.

Was feeling down, so I decided to go out for a night time walk. I saw the moon and stopped in my tracks. It was the first time I felt better today. 🌕🩷

I feel like we, as a society, have let you down. For all of the great recommendations you make to all of us, someone should have pointed this movie out to you. If only for those muscles and slutty little glasses.

Just finished @caseyjohnston.bsky.social ‘s book A Physical Education. Incredible read! I started lifting weights and working with a trainer 8 months ago, and this book has given me so much motivation and encouragement to just keep at it. Even when I fall on my ass pulling a sled across the room.

I've always liked the crop art photos you post from the fair every year. But it wasn't until I saw crop art for the first time in person at MSP this past March when I discovered I *LOVE* crop art.

This medium is definitely meant to be seen in person.

I have stayed up until 3am to finish it. Thank YOU for writing and sharing it with the world. Cary and Shiloh will stick with me for a long time. 🩷

I'm currently reading a book that makes my heart squeeze. I get so invested in the characters and story, and it feels real, and when something super emotional happens, *SQUEEZE.* ❤️

Update: Said local indie bookshop just informed me my books are ready to pick up, AND they are having a Romance Book Swap this weekend.

I guess I'm going to have to pick up my books on that day and participate.

I got a $150 rebate when I bought my contact lenses recently, but the rebate came in the form of a "virtual credit card." I can't put that on my credit card to help pay for those contact lenses, which is annoying.

But I did just buy $113 worth of books at my local indie bookshop for pickup later 😈

Today is the kind of day I wish I could have a dog in my apartment.

Mrs Basil E Frankweiler changed me as a child! I was at an amusement park when I was a preteen, and actually got into a conversation with another preteen ahead of me in line about this book. It was the first time I'd met someone who knew what I was talking about.

I watched this last night and that's all I could think about. The documentary had so many angles to shift through, but THAT right there is what stuck with me.
