Today in transit misadventures - got quite the surprise when I got to Hoboken and found PATH suspended for the first time in my 6 months of commuting. Took the ferry instead. Nice 🌅 view worth the + 10 minutes to my commute.

Well depressed but not surprised by that finish to the Mets season. Just didn't have the juice this year / too many injuries / some insane bad luck at the wrong times. Maybe next year will finally be the year?

Oh man I was there Friday night too, felt so bad for Tong. 😭 I'll DM you (short answer is yeah I'm around).

Most miserable game I've been to in a long time between a kid constantly blowing a Diaz plastic trumpet behind me for 9 innings and the most misanthropic fan I've ever seen sitting next to me cursing out this 'failure of a franchise" every ab ( he's apparently a renewing season ticket holder 🙄)

Update from the LIRR train that is apparently never leaving for Penn - bros next to me are planning on watching the second Transformers movie when they get home, which is certainly a life choice.

Mets post game fireworks were decent but less impressive than the Mr. Rodgers drone show in Pittsburgh back in June.
