Agree with this take. Right now, there are a number of good but small substacks/blogs/newsletters and I'd love to see more things like Defector and Hell Gate where people are working together as a collective. That seems to be the most sustainable model forward for journalism

How federal agents are terrorizing American citizens Last week, hundreds of heavily armed federal agents descended on an apartment complex in Chicago, arriving in Black Hawk helicopters and moving trucks.
