Sure, we've always outsourced boring choices to others but ideally to free us up to make more fun choices!

They can't understand that the engineers might take joy in figuring out how to get the road over a hill or that the lawyer might find purpose in figuring out how to legally please all the parties fairly etc. they're just problem solvers (or problem creators!) who can be replaced

If there is creativity, they think it's like in Simcity or similar. You say "I want a road here" and, assuming enough cash, the road appears. The managers, engineers, surveyors, builders, lawyers - who think creatively how to do what they're told - are just abstractions.
