PFAS pollution is poisoning our waters - and our fish.
Data from 7 EU countries shows wild fish often exceed safety limits, sometimes by 100s or even 1000s of times. This threatens not just ecosystems, but also seafood & drinking water.

She knows such comments can be politically difficult, not unlike raising the red flag to the proverbial bull. Such oratorical gestures, albeit well meant, would only give anti-EU cranks even more undue prominence.

Nice trolling.
Well, if Indra doesn't implement anything like the terrible navigo app that's used in Paris/รฎle de France, then it sounds promising. By contrast, I genuinely much prefer to use the navigo NFC top-up card rather than trying to use their app.

Although we have this momentary respite, what is clear is that anything coming out of this Whitehouse cannot be taken for granted. I get the feeling that most of Europe has had enough of Trump's antics, and I think what occurred has ruined US reputation, current relations and future cooperation.

18.01.2026 07:49 โ ๐ 35 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1While I agree with you on your core points, my comment was merely created in jest. The juxtaposing idea of attempting to train real hamsters to front NHS adverts, and to do so with a particularly good grasp of English, just amused me. It really was nothing more than a bit of harmless levity.
13.01.2026 17:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I would hazard a guess that training a real hamster to do those adverts would take far too long, be too expensive and generally considered a waste of public money in such stringent times. ๐
