trenchcrusade.com As a lot of you know, Trench Crusade got its start leveraging 3D printing technology via a very successful Kickstarter back in 2024. However, it immediately became apparent that 3D printing would not be able to keep up with demand for the game and the growth of the community. Thanks to this explosive show of support, we are grateful to have been able to pivot to plastic kits in under a year, and these will be our focus going forward. So as to be clear as possible with this: there will be no major releases in STL or Resin format in the future. There will be a small wave of releases to round out the digital range once the Kickstarter is complete, but after that, we will only be releasing a very limited range of products this way. Things like accessories, special models and terrain. To confirm though, the current range of 3D files and Resin miniatures isn't going anywhere and will remain available.

I guess they did say a few small releases. Messy communications though!

Really really love the weird purpley shadows and ochre yellowy highlights it’s so fun

The leather went on fast and easy and that gun stock is just the original purple-ochre gradient I think?

Really the only weird part was white, had to use a brighter highlight than the rest of the model but that’s fine

Painted up a special gwynt yawdryl for a friend with a new approach, using the shade purple throughout and he looks absolutely great! Bluesky is clown town though so spinny video in the next post.

Really great idea but I think we should set up a more streamlined system where we show them a qr code so they can scan it first and then show us their qr code and of course this has to happen in a government controlled app.
