I try to plug this fun and very creepy play every Halloween season. A mix of Orson Welles' War of the World's broadcast and Night of the Living Dead, it's a zombie outbreak played straight by local talent on the very real radio staton WHUN (now WSWT). A favorite!

I should have paid attention to my French teacher, Mme Kear, when she told me, “you’d better pay attention in class because in 33 years you’re going to be watching a French film and you’ll have no clue what is going on!”

Okay, French dude #1 was clearly thinking “hey that judge is hot” and now there’s a random three seconds in black and white and now we’re following someone else and this would probably be one of my ten favourite movies ever if I had the slightest idea what the fuck was happening.

Today I learned that my twelve years of French class did not prepare me for an actual French-language film.
