Trump is not a skillful manipulator he is just one of the dumbest idiots imaginable bullshitting his way through life. The fact that he fools so many people is not a testament to any kind of skill on his part but the lack thereof in his victims.

The pardons are primarily symbolic: No one on the list has been charged with federal crimes, and Trump can't pardon those facing state charges in GA, AZ, NV and WI.

I’m no great fan of the ACA.

I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system.

But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
