We are in fact DESPERATE for winter coats, waterproof gloves, and good boots. We get so many wonderful donations but it is so cold and the numbers of unhoused unsheltered people are going up at the absolute worst time for it, and we run out of coats weekly.

Lol I completely get it. But to be fair to one of my favorites, Rank Strangers were formed in the pre-google year of 1991, while the Australian bluegrass band was around from 1988-92 (according to Wikipedia). It’s unlikely they were aware of one another.

The same mayor who voted to pass a “tent” ban that he’s all-in on in July. Thankfully it didn’t pass, but he’s bringing it back.
