A few years after I finally got my OBC (my birth state partially opened records after my reunion), I went through the name change process to revise my own identity and reclaim and reincorporate multiplicity. There are no good words for it.

If it's the one I saw a few months ago, very worth it. And good choice.

This will go on my (LONG) list of adoption-related books that I will read when I can handle it -- some years, I get through a lot, maybe 5 or so. Some years, none. I want to know it all -- and sometimes, I definitely cannot handle the truth!

I saw a lot of joy in performing. That's always fun to watch, for me, whether it's skating or a concert or a speech.

This is the kind of thing that knocks me on my ass -- because I never expect it in reality tv. And then someone will be an ignorant jerk to her and then I'll just be mad.

Honestly, I do have to remind myself ti make this distinction. It's important. That beauty=virtue is embedded pretty deep because it's in out childhood stories.

I mean, that's always going to beat transit for convenience. For the person getting door-to-door service. Not for the driver. I'm a dedicated transit lover and I will still take a ride home when offered!

Too bad we can't just put stations in existing holes downtown. Alignment doesn't work that way. Sigh.

I managed it for a bit. My work out involved getting a job in North Dakota pre oil boom and pre 2008 collapse. It's no longer even a dream.

A fan of road kill, ocean kill, and sewage swimming maybe gets his kicks that way. Nothing else about him makes sense.

Make sure you're also looking at the time it takes to park. That's substantial in First Hill. Getting used to transit does take time. For me, the streetcar is my best ride up there.

"Game time" is maybe 6 weeks, I think? June to mid-July.

Among other things, this past year has ruined superlatives for me. They are meaningless. The number of times I've said "that is the dumbest thing...", "that is the stupidest idea...."

EST has ceased to have any meaning other than a time zone for the part of the year.
