I think we'll get changes today, can see Thiaw, Botman Murphy and Wilock getting a start and leaving others fresh for Barca

Look forward to these whenever we sign a player, thanks Kev

Some great fixtures, and avoided some draining journeys. Happy with it for sure

I know Howe likes his players to be tall, but 6'6 Woltemade has taken it to a........new level

They are binary, but if a byproduct of the rules causes an imbalance then they aren't fit for purpose, and that's supporters issue. Agreed the game shouldn't be about how wealthy your owner is, but unfortunately that's been the case for the last 30 years. Aside from Leicester.

It's known that it's to prevent clubs mismanagement and living beyond their means, their are legitimate views and concerns of supporters that it has caused a divide between the earning of the big 6 and the other 14. If it was planned or is an unintended byproduct of the rules doesn't really matter.

Sincerely, what are these myths?

To supporters outside of the "big 6" PSR looks to have been less about securing clubs futures and more about the richest clubs/ owners protecting their investment and future returns. The drawbridge has been pulled up, so the other 14 can't compete with the super league level wages of the big 6

Facts. And in a world cup year, The death gasp of an Agent who tried to bully a sovereign wealth fund

zero chance he actually tanks his career because he didn't get to go to Liverpool. his agent is getting desperate..

I think the NUFC fan base has fallen for age old line from Isaks agent that his client doesn't want to play for Newcastle United again.
Taking to social media to build the hate - which ultimately leads to the player leaving.
He is a unique player.
I would try everything to get him to stay.

The latest Ornstien "reveal" about Isak is just more agent led clickbait fuel for the fire. Everyday there's an exclusive that's contradictory to what a different reporter "Exclusively revealed" the day prior. It's a shame what 24-7 news and social media has done to journalism. #nufc

Might be in denial, but just smells like publicity bullshit to me. Give it a year or two when they're trying to shop him off to Italy after ruining him and it'll come out he's on 300k a week

07.08.2025 15:06 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Just don't believe reports that we offered bigger wages to Sesko and that his agent has reduced his share to facilitate the deal. Complete bullshit, never know an agent to accept anything less than all they could get. And you're telling me silly wages FC offered less than us?! With our wage cap! Nah

Well, looks like we've got to page 329 of our list of targets

Not that he'd fancy it, but would love him as backup to Wissa (or equivalent) for a year and let Eddie and Jason work their magic with him in training

I know the pool is small, but is there anyone a bit leftfield that you'd be hoping to see us try for?
Torres, Aghehowa, Guirassey, etc?

06.08.2025 13:38 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes Man U will be paying him twice as much as Newcastle offered, but his contract includes a clause that he's required to work 2 shifts a week in the canteen and drive the team bus to away games. So it's good value if you think about it logically

06.08.2025 11:16 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If we miss out on Sesko, so be it, it's annoying but not the end of the world, just means Isak stays.
I'd trust Howe to keep him going for 6-12 months, especially on a world cup year 🀞

05.08.2025 13:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Realistically yeah, but I'd love two strikers and keep him for another year.

Can disagree with any of your comments, think Ramos has shown flashes, similar to Sesko in that regard.

In fairness, with enough time I'd trust Howe to get a tune out of anyone after witnessing Murphy's transformation

05.08.2025 05:15 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Sesko
Ramos
Guehi
Wharton

Expensive and on just the edge of realistic.

Wildcard would be Arda GΓΌler, but we're never getting him in a million years.

04.08.2025 21:22 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Imagine if we managed Sesko and a CM as well 🫨

The summer break has been the perfect tonic for Gordon. Back doing his best impersonation of a Dog chasing a ball around the park. Janet will be proud

Matt Targett would suit a Β£20m move to Saudi. I'll even pay for a year's supply of Piz Buin if it'll help convince him

They rejected the bid outright, not exactly negotiating

01.08.2025 14:45 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

When did they say Isak is for sale?

01.08.2025 13:56 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If you had to guess, what is it you think Howe sees in him that most of us don't seem too? Or is it just a solid back up to Pope and Dubs is off somewhere to be number 1?

29.07.2025 21:01 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I think most Newcastle fans are actually annoyed about the handcuffs of PSR and 3rd party related sponsorship rules.
Feels like our chair at the adults table was pulled out from underneath us because six other guys didn't wnt to share the food.
And that frustration is coming out over the Isak mess

29.07.2025 18:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The net spends higher as the quality of the squad was incredibly low and major investment was needed to avoid relegation. And that lack of quality players makes selling for any real money impossible. Andy Carroll is still our 2nd biggest sale behind Anderson.
