As I recall, the original putrid new Flames arena deal (championed by then-councillor Jeff Davison) was opposed by only 2 members of YYCCC at the time: Farkas and Farrell.

The current new Flames arena deal is even more lopsided in favour of billionaire tax-expat Murray Edwards.

And the Alberta landowners where these O&G assets are located are also going to refuse to pay. I assume many of those landowners are part of the AB UCP "base".

Alberta UCP plan is to dump the costs this massive environmental cleanup of Albertans taxpayers (present and, mostly, future).
