Mind controlling Captain Britain is my favourite IRA plot after what happened with Lord Mountbatten.

I'm sure it would have worked well if I knew shit about building an arcanum character but man it was a rough start to trying the game.

I remember my first attempt to play Arcanum being 'Hey, what if I played an Elf Gunslinger. That famous elven vision and hand-eye coordination would work well for guns' and then running into 'Oh, elves start off with an automatic alignment to magic' and 'oh, guns are not great to start'.

...I'm going to have to double check, I swore they were immune to morale stuff. I might be off the mark.

I don't like the morale immunity. It makes sense but it also makes fighting them feel like a damage race because you can't suppress them and there are multiple squad leader talents ABOUT morale fuckery.

It's kinda incredible to see someone's mind unravel from existential horror and it's the guy who thought he could beat Janeway.

I do love how Olly is not remotely a surprise for the Flash but boot lover Hal? Yeah, that's a shock.

I'll admit, I'm curious about how you make 'Boarding people to steal their stuff with violence' cozy. Seems kinda high stakes and tense.

I can only assume Warbucks and Tony Stark only differ in that one of them got blown up with his own product.

It's an interesting case where it doesn't have a 'combat system', it's got the basic skill system and one time that roll involves doing a violence.

He doesn't NEED to be a chaos guy to actively be fucking things up for everything. He just needs to be heartless and so far up his own ass he's turned into an uzumaki spiral.

It's why I rather like Inquisisitor Karamazov when it comes to 40k inquisitors. He's such a useless fucking nutter. He's the origin of that 'A plea of innocence is guilty of wasting my time' quote and it really sells how he's not doing shit to help, he's just actively making things worse.

Give us like various Force Cults or Philosophical Differences OUTSIDE of 'Dark Side/Light Side'. You could have someone with a background in religious studies write a FASCINATING story about the cultural and theological shifts within the Jedi Order during the clone wars.

I feel like they need to get someone with an actual background in Theology and Religious Studies to take a shot at the Force. Someone who knows...anything...about how religions work under the hood, how beliefs spread etc.

Basicly: If the Force is a faith...let someone who understands shit there try

Have the first squad get cut down to the last man, unarmed and with a communications device of some sort. Predator does its smug 'I'm better than you, I won't bother killing someone unarmed'...and then it cuts to an artillery battery being given a new target.

And this time there was like 20mins of 'Christ people, be normal about star wars' before be could even begin.

With a TV show with many writers, I tend to give a lot more leeway for 'oh yeah, there are Some Bad Episodes with that sorta thing'.

I'll admit my take has always been that basic 'Most stormtroopers who get tagged with small arms shots survive, they just end up with a busted rib or a concussion because the armour is good for survival' take.

Hell, even in the fiction it's kinda iffy. Like they go down but we see a *lot* of less armoured people take shots and not die.
