I once went to a skate show (back when I was a teen in Canada) where they had multiple skaters perform with no sound except they puts mics near the blades. it was sensorily magnificent

just got a really weird antisemitic spam comment at AO3. so just a warning to my friends that that's happening! I reported it but I haven't received that particular kind of spam comment before (and it was clearly spammed).

yes! it's so good at like Star Trek Worldbuilding while also taking advantage of the medium. in the same way that LD also does excellent body horror because of the affordances of being animated

aw yay, I hope you enjoy! it is honestly one of my favourite LD worldbuilding things, where T'Ana is just like "I gotta chainsaw off this dude's foot and grow him a new one, no big!" like it makes sense that people would feel differently about that kind of injury when it could be instantly healed
