The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.

WHAT TO KNOW: PARKING If lots are full, additional parking may be found in commercial areas to the West and East along Edinger, and to the South along Fairview. You may also find parking on the streets of the neighborhoods to the North and East of the park. Please enter from Edinger at Mohawk for parking, unless you are dropping off mutual aid or a person with disabilities. Please only use the Fairview entrance if you are dropping off mutual aid or a person with disabilities. All cars must exit the south parking garage by 7pm or risk being locked in!

First, try to carpool or rideshare if you can. If you're bringing donations for the food & essentials drive and don't want to carry them from your car, enter through the Fairview entrance on the east side of the park. Pull up to the turnout to drop off with the help of volunteers, and continue driving north along Centennial to access the parking lots and parking garage marked in yellow on the map in the last slide.

If you re not dropping off donations, enter through the Edinger Ave entrance and turn right. There are tons of free parking lots around Centennial Park, but the parking structure on the south end of the park is reserved for our event. The city has notified us that the parking structure at the south end of the park will be closed at 7pm sharp, and any remaining cars will be locked inside. Please vacate the parking structure before 7pm!

If everything in the park fills up, there are also some commercial lots around the area and neighborhoods with street parking, but double check signage to make sure you don't get towed. SEE YOU SOON!
