Correct. It’s part of the proposal. And, kind reminder- you don’t have to perfectly execute it, but it should well thought out with ways to measure effort. Depending on the discipline, think of ways to get results to broad audiences in addition to academic audiences. Reviewers like that

Evaluator here 😊. You should have a general dissemination plan for your grant. It can easily be written into the evaluation to monitor progress, collaborative efforts for authorship including funded students, and dissemination - from manuscripts and presentations to podcasts, blogs, etc.
