Thanks Fangs. She seems rather fine now, jumping on my bed and headbutting me to wake me up so I can feed her.

The last worrying element is how picky she's with food despite having lost a lot of weight. I'll continue to monitor and keep the vet updated to see if we need to change her diet.

After one last blood test, it seems she's back within normal levels for pretty much everything. The vet couldn't sense any more growth near her kidney either.

Seems the whole thing was just a serious infection after all, which the antibiotics fought off.

Nausea sucks and can happen to some people regardless of how good the software and hardware is, but it's really not all that common. I've done VR demos for public events and never had anyone experience it.

I've had one kid completely lose balance mid-session and fall down though. RIP Controller :/

For dedicated enthusiasts it's already happening and has been for a while. There's a lotta folks (like me) really into it, like Simulation fans and the Social VR crowd (or as the media would like to call it, "metaverse", but they'll never consider VRChat as one).

Mainstream tho? Probably not.

We did it. After 6 years of trying to get this show, “8”, on an IRL stage, it happened.

The partially opened door from said garage, taken from the inside of it. I actually kept it closed most of the time to avoid curious folks sharing the same parking garage from taking a peek... So I only had the light of my phone's screen to ward off the darkness

Avoiding quest-compatible worlds will definitely reduce the amount of kids you encounter.

If you get 18+ verified (which, I know, isn't without issues) you can join instances almost guaranteed without minors.
