Yeah and I mean I agree with you on that part - post pandemic inflation was a global phenomenon and US handled it better than some other countries. And, of course, it would have been much worse under Trump. But Stancil denies inflation happened or is a problem in any way.

House Dems just helped GOP give more funding to the DHS. Senate Dems are shutting it down but will eventually give in, without anything really changing. Even if GOP agree to all their conditions (unlikely), they are not going to enforce them. Dems will still give them the votes needed.

Sure. I think they should be voting no on virtually everything to obstruct the GOP agenda. Instead, they reliably give GOP the votes they need to pass legislation whenever GOP can’t do it without Dem votes. They do so for free, without even getting any meaningful concessions in return.

I expect them to do their jobs whether or not they have the majority. Not having it just means they won’t be able to pass legislation.

I think Dem politicians need to take responsibility for being crap. Virtually no one likes them, and that includes a lot of people who vote for them.
