And yet you still haven’t called to abolish ICE.

Tapper went full MAGA a while back. This is on par for the course.

Children that didn’t show up to immigration hearings or did not receive a court notice were considered to be unaccounted for.

I thought this was quite funny (and accurate).

I mean yeah… but he’s pretty low on my priority list when compared to Trump, Vance, Noem, Bondi and Hegseth.

I’m sure there is some kind of city bylaw, not mentioned on these signs, that says you can’t.

Yeah and I mean I agree with you on that part - post pandemic inflation was a global phenomenon and US handled it better than some other countries. And, of course, it would have been much worse under Trump. But Stancil denies inflation happened or is a problem in any way.

Yes, losing SNAP is bad but it wasn’t Democrats’ fault - GOP could fund it but chose not to - and because Democrats caved, many people can’t afford their health insurance anymore.

I don’t think β€œhistorically” really applies anymore. Historically, any president doing a fraction of what Trump is doing would have been long gone by now.

I am disputing his premise that voters don’t understand inflation. You don’t need a PhD in economics to understand that not being able to afford steak anymore is a bad thing.

Read the article- Dem vote will get split between 8 candidates, GOP vote will only get split between 2. Jungle primary with no ranked vote is a really stupid system.

Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped. The decisions amount to a huge legal rebuke, but the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely.

Let me explain: when people have to settle for cheaper food because they can no longer afford the type of food they like and used to be able to afford, it’s bad.

Instead of Pandering, Democrats Should Try Changing Voters’ Minds How can the party of liberalism make liberal ideas more popular? By creating a more liberal electorate. Yes, it can be done. Here are five ways how.

Broken bones, burning eyes: How Trump's DHS deploys 'less lethal' weapons on protesters Federal immigration officers have repeatedly used force in ways that appear to violate their own policies or general policing guidelines, NBC News found.

β€œI’ve never seen federal agents so out of control and acting in such a malicious manner,” a former federal prosecutor and federal judge said. β€œThey said they were going after β€˜the worst of the worst,’ then they became the problem.

In other words, the vast majority of the $45 billion in reconciliation funding is going to go to the new system of warehouse detention camps.

The other $6.8 billion will presumably serve mainly to keep the existing system of detention running without any other major changes.

Labor camps more likely. Keeping people to do slave labor and charging taxpayers for their keep is more profitable.

It’s a semi-anonymous way to pay for illicit activities. It also facilitates money laundering. Think of it as a banking system for organized crime syndicates.

House Dems just helped GOP give more funding to the DHS. Senate Dems are shutting it down but will eventually give in, without anything really changing. Even if GOP agree to all their conditions (unlikely), they are not going to enforce them. Dems will still give them the votes needed.

14.02.2026 11:25 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Sure. I think they should be voting no on virtually everything to obstruct the GOP agenda. Instead, they reliably give GOP the votes they need to pass legislation whenever GOP can’t do it without Dem votes. They do so for free, without even getting any meaningful concessions in return.

I expect them to do their jobs whether or not they have the majority. Not having it just means they won’t be able to pass legislation.

I think Dem politicians need to take responsibility for being crap. Virtually no one likes them, and that includes a lot of people who vote for them.
