Games of TI4 take long enough that you schedule in breaks for lunch, snacks, and are complicated enough in both rules and diplomacy that they make other games look like Candyland. Once you play it, you'll never want to go back to regular games. It is every strategy game in one. It is the peak.

We've only played six-player games because we don't own a table large enough for an 8-player game. No one in the friend group does. 8-player games generally require custom carpentry. Here's our table, along with an example of a table that barely has enough room for a TI4 8-player setup.
