I love how Dem donors pushed out the incumbent Dem President but can't be bothered to help keep Dem Senators in line.

It’s possibly you guys covered this on NMP, I’m behind a few weeks.

Right. No one is disputing that. The question is whether he has to swear her in before taking votes on other matters in the house.

Government is shut down. Chaos in airports. 42 million going hungry. 24 million face skyrocketing healthcare costs. Economy in turmoil. And the president of the United States is in the Fox broadcast booth calling plays for a football game.

Fair enough

Then I’m on tentatively on board with that contingent on how much those HSAs are funded relative to the subsidies being lost.

09.11.2025 23:25 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I politely disagree.

I’ve got an HSA I’ve been contributing to for a decade, investing and letting it grow.

It would have been liquidated twice over with the charges from our child being born and my wife’s subsequent rehospitalization.

HSAs can only work as OOP costs after insurance.

caving in the face of widespread child starvation is actually something which i would consider morally acceptable, but accepting an outcome worse than BATNA as a compromise is worse

Concrete β€œbattery” developed at MIT now packs 10 times the power New concrete and carbon black supercapacitors with optimized electrolytes have 10 times the energy storage of previous designs and can be incorporated into a wide range of architectural forms.

Wild. They are figuring out how to store electricity in ... concrete.

Following up on this. This remains a β€˜cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.

FSA is worse than HSA. They are not portable and the unused funds expire rather than roll over at the end of the year.

Looks like this is real. About 40% of the flight at 8k feet, then bumped up to 10k, and then finally went up higher, but only to 20k feet. Much slower than normal flight and likely burned a lot more fuel. But the view out the window was probably impressive.

The last ancient precedent precedes the Glorious Revolution! There is nothing as intolerable in a representative government than representatives going unseated, except the dissolution of the legislature altogether. What Johnson is doing is somehow both.
