As someone who lives and grew up in Richmond, I’m frustrated that no one seems able to figure out the provenance of Brunswick stew. It’s really big in this area, but there’s two different places that claim it.

Her name is Linda Davis and she was killed by our government.

Just watched on Hulu today — solid movie.

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

The GBC was a thing of beauty. I had a solid purple one and still miss it.

The sense of humor. The punchlines don’t undermine the action and hit the same kind of beats as the action itself. It doesn’t feel like the jokes are trying to give the audience a break — instead they’re just how these characters play in this world.

The view is really something else. My wife and I would take the Metro in from Alexandria and get there way too early for our show, and we’d go hang out up there and watch boats on the river. What a special place.
