Today: North Carolinians protested at the legislature in Raleigh, speaking out against a number of bad bills that hurt immigrant and LGBTQ communities, attack diversity, and more. They called on lawmakers to uphold Governor Stein's vetoes of these harmful bills.

Every single one of these NC Republicans just voted to rip food and health care away from working families.

They call it the "Big Beautiful Bill". We call it a national disgrace.

The new budget has passed, and it rips away healthcare and food assistance from families while rewarding the rich. In NC, that means 142,000 people are at risk of losing access to SNAP and over 600,000 people will lose access to healthcare.

We won't stop fighting for NC's future.
