I may be late to the party on this, but holy shit The Diplomat is some very fucking fun darkly humourous political drama. Stacked cast and creatives, a world and characters that feel thoroughly real and lived in, pace and adrenaline with plenty of absurdity that sits perfectly balanced in the world

SUCH a smart tactic. I'm starting to take a book with me wherever I go for the same purpose, and have considered doing it with notebook and pen to force more writing, but I fear both will just make me very annoyed at having to stop for the thing I was out to do.

Always crushing to farewell a pet, but my god experiencing it with a six year old is a roller coaster. Why are we laughing so much? Are we going to be sick now? How much existential curiosity fits into a tiny grieving brain? All this is unknowable.

Completed Expedition 33. Kind of in awe at the narrative risks they took, but it's a monumental achievement in storytelling and world-building before you even start to consider the gameplay, which is also phenomenal. Beautiful, Brutal game.
