Mario Guevara should never have been held in detention for performing his journalistic duty.

Mario’s deportation marks a dark day for the Guevara family and for press freedom.

Thanks for all the kind words. I finally heard from my husband who is safe. He is being detained and it is not clear why he was detained or even if charges will be pressed.
