Thanks to multiple lawsuits, and repeated court orders, hundreds of thousands of Washingtonians across our state finally have the SNAP benefits they need to put food on the table.

Shockingly, this administration continues to work to withhold food assistance from those who need it most. So much so that President Trump appealed, lost again, and now wants to take his effort to withhold food to the Supreme Court.

President Trump needs to stop fighting to keep food from hungry families, and focus on re-opening the government.

For almost four decades, Nancy Pelosi has served the American people and worked to make our country better. No one was more skilled at bringing people together and getting legislation passed – and I will always be grateful for her support of the Affordable Care Act.
