But also this doesn't depend on a denial of Scripture, but an embrace of it, and what it so infallibly teaches.

I see such theology as being in the same tradition as that of William Wilberforce, Lemuel Haynes, Josephine Butler, Phillis Wheatley, F.D. Maurice, etc.

We should be every day, and on the last day we shall certainly be surprised at how much the Gospel truly turns things upside down.

I'm inclusively orthodox. The denial of there being gulf between the Biblical and apostolic faith and care for oppressed, marginalised, persecuted people is central to my everything.

A phenomenon I've encountered is people so used to my being traddy being confused when I do support "progressive" things. To the point multiple people have expressed their surprise at my supporting women's ordination. 😭 A lil thread explaining myself.

Women's Ordination is a glorious thing. As is the ordination of LGBTQ people. Recall Mary Magdalene. The first to preach the Gospel. There just isn't getting around that. It's GLORIOUS.

My stance on this issue is firm I have to say.

Not without nuance, I don’t think, but firm. And borne of the same theology that sees me being anti-war, anti-death penalty, anti euthanasia/eugenics and generally opposed to violence.
