Yeah, unclear whether the report will be "fewer employed people", which purportedly could be related to removing immigrants, or "higher unemployment rate", which couldn't.

It's so dull that even I'm looking forward to Bad Bunny and I've never heard of him before last week.

I was thinking a song licensing thing, but yeah, no matter where they do it, there's a music publisher with a finger on the 'strike' button.

And in either world, does 2027 have a new paper to fill the role of the Post? (Or maybe the Washingon Times moves from conservative to neutral?)

No, second best, behind the UofM. A substantial number of MN judges went to Mitchell Hamline.

Truck in Peru with vines covering it.

Truck in Peru with vines covering it.

A tour guide in Peru told us that the reason the truck ahead was covered with prickly vines was so that bandits wouldn't ride alongside and jump on and hijack for the cargo. I thought how lucky I was to be able to take a picture and go home where it was safe.

Thank you for using the word "lie", and voluminously. If I see one headline with "misleadingly" or "claims" or ", experts say" or "stretches boundaries" I'm gonna turducken myself.

I think it's a reference to the new Minnesota state flag -- that's the star and that color blue. One of the popular proposed flag submissions had a loon with laser eyes.

Odd that the occasional alternative, the Lib Dems, haven't been able to take advantage of any of it. Does aligning with the Conservatives through 2015 still poison their image?

Oh, not disagreeing with you. I was an Arne Carlson acolyte in college in 1992 MN, tired of the sclerotic post-Humphrey DFL. But that's about then Republican moderation died in my part of the world, and I'm a Dem again.

I dunno. It's true that Google Search made research much easier, and I'm sure some said it was *too* easy, but it still delivered pages of plausible links (especially before the algorithm got so refined) rather than the confident "here is the right answer" of LLMs.
