Wednesday evening I grabbed a Coke Zero and my swimsuit. And that's the day I found out what a Center Parcs is. And that I'd been here all week, sitting in meetings.

On Monday evening they went swimming. "It's amazing," they said. I'd been working all day and was knackered so said no. Same on Tuesday. "There's an amazing slide Mummy. You're missing out." But... Back to back meetings, man.

So my husband got sick of the heat and suggested we go stay at some place. He said it was a cottage in the woods with a swimming pool. My sister in law talks about it all the time and he said there was WiFi so we got in the car. I grabbed my work laptops and phones and we left.
