12.02.2026 13:35 β π 3 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Any chance this is recorded?
28.01.2026 13:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Aww! A teeny newt! π
17.01.2026 20:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ooh, love that about the origin of a second. Thanks for sharing
17.01.2026 14:42 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is great but misses one obvious point. A minute (minn-uhtt) is minute (my-newt).
17.01.2026 14:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Iβve just accepted that your characters will go through all nine levels of hell at this point - and Iβll be with them every damn step of the way as moral support.
07.01.2026 21:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ah, Ruth. My deepest condolences. She was such a delightful best girl.
06.01.2026 13:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was fortunate enough to see the real thing from the inside and it remains one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life.
21.12.2025 00:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Introduce yourself with 5 animals youβve seen in the wild:
(The ones I got most excited about)
Dugite (venomous snake)
Giraffe
Orangutan
Smooth Newt
Wobbegong shark
It did indeed have curtains over the screen!
10.12.2025 08:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The first time I saw Strictly Ballroom was in a little rural cinema with wood-backed cushions on the theatre seats. I laughed so hard, I doubled over then literally fell off my seat as the cushion tipped, slid and brought me down with it. (The seat snapped closed behind me as an encore.)
09.12.2025 19:41 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs right up there with: βIβll get back to you.β
02.12.2025 13:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0May I recommend Peteβs Castle near Craughwell? Not abandoned but cosy is a more viable alternative.
21.11.2025 13:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm jealous! Canβt wait to get my copy!
21.11.2025 13:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same! Huge difference in teenage independence thanks to our new Local Links.
30.10.2025 14:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I adore this series. First book going cheap. Warning: you will buy the rest.
30.10.2025 13:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Love Overboard but love him playing the sidekick in Big Trouble in Little China even more!
25.10.2025 22:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In Australia, I had a large version of this dude. His hat was a sieve, his face a bowl and he held the spoon!
18.10.2025 08:17 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Picking it up again - got halfway through last night. Had no idea he had such a strong Australian connection or that he literally got in this deep (sorry) with submersible builds.
18.10.2025 07:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Dorothy Dunnettβs Game of Kings. Friends advised persistence and so I persevered reluctantly. Then came that plot twist and the whole book changed for me.
19.09.2025 16:51 β π 11 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0My fave Xmas film. Love it even more than a Muppetβs Christmas Carol.
06.09.2025 09:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Flowering artichokes are otherworldly.
30.07.2025 21:07 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Oh, do dough, do!
04.07.2025 18:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Literally a whole continent missing from this checklist. Was it compiled by flat-earthers?
04.07.2025 15:29 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Immediate flashbacks! And I would devour every last word of this truly outrageous piece of scholarship!
27.06.2025 20:22 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This quote always shook me. Reminds me of The Princess Bride: who says life is fair, where is that written?
But Terry adds the rider - unfairness doesnβt excuse inaction.
Good to know others also bang on about how deceptive the Mercator projection is.
27.06.2025 15:43 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Where there are no sheep, there are wild camels. (This is true.)
26.06.2025 07:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Reminds me of Ptraci from Pyramids by Terry Pratchett.
19.06.2025 11:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Homemade elderflower cordial after a walk in the woods.
