Here’s one of my favorite park photos, taken from Tom Sawyer Island in the mid 60s. The details captured are amazing. Zoom into Mark Twain. Look at all those guests enjoying such a simple, serene pleasure. Zoom into the treehouse. More guests who had no idea they just became part of an iconic photo.

Views of this snack bar with the Nesbitt’s signage visibly are nearly impossible to find.

I believe it’s scalloped fabric similar to the Tiki Room. Some tables on the left, and it looks like overflow Skyway queue on the right.

Cast members referred to them as Fan I and Fan II, one on each side of the land, but I don’t recall when each went away.

Correct, the far end of Fantasyland, taken from a Skyway bucket just leaving the station on the right. You can see the edge of Dumbo on the left.

I have some but the don’t start until the late 80s/early 90s. There was definitely more interesting material in the earlier issues.

Celebrating the holidays year-round, hanging in my home office is this signed Eric Robison print from the original Disney Gallery. Can’t go wrong with Jiminy Cricket and Christmas!

I’m partial to this style, growing up with the design, but I don’t mind the newer versions either.

He lived in the area forever. Both UC Davis and Sac State had nice retrospective exhibits over the years.

Theibaud’s work is amazing in person. My wife was lucky enough to have him as an art history professor at UC Davis. At the end of the semester he signed the large Mickey print for her!

The original Disneyland holiday decorations appear sparingly in backgrounds. It's always a delight to spy them. I'm sure I haven't seen them all!

I’ve been an Oakland A’s and Rickey Henderson fan for as long as I can remember. One of my most surreal experiences was taking photos of his Hall of Fame induction while leaning against the stage. I still can’t believe the news.

Was able to ride Rocket Rods a few times, and they were fun when working.

Fun to see everything in one place. We used to go pretty frequently, and have been in that space for special events, but not since the latest remodel.

Went to Stage Nine in Old Sacramento today for the first time since their “Underground Vault” was a permanent exhibition space. Lots of fun theme park artifacts!
