Ghost of Yotei (and Tsushima before it, a bit) teach a lesson that if you want your revenge story to be compelling, it has to be founded in the LOVE of what was lost. Can't just avenge your mom; you avenge the music she can no longer play, so you now carry a shamisen in her memory. Good, not edgy.

The past two days of Ghost of Yotei have been fantastic. I'm objectively very bad at revenge, not even bothering to go after my targets, but I'm having a blast finding every secret I can squeeze out of Ezo.
