oh no. this stupid country and our stupid health system. it's insane.

It's been a very long couple of months. Their mom had been in the hospital and just had pacemaker surgery. she lives 4 hours away, and siblings are not helping. gotta love family.

if i came off as grumpy, it's because im at my parents house with both my kids and no partner, and im way overstimulated.

oh, yeah, no. i've just been doing a ton of solo parenting since the end of september, and i'm BEAT.

no, i'm good at feeding people. and parenting. but it's just so much of taking people places and picking them up and having no time.

it's weird, right? have been listening to this podcast for ever.

have you thought getting a digital clock, maybe they'd have an easier time understanding what time it is?

To all the single moms out there, you are heroes. i don't know how you do it! I've been solo parenting for a week, and it's just so hard!

Both my kids love school. which is a welcome change from my experience as a kid. and yeah, that online year was rough. thankfully my eldest was in pre-k and K fir that year, so we kinda ignored a lot of it.

oh, this is a 7 year old, they love all classes. i think she's wolverine. that tracks.

i'm going need someone to explain to me how a kid can be sick for like 5-6 hours and then be fine.

i'm a statistician and in my exams i would do whatever i could to turn an integral into a probability distribution function so the integral would integrate to 1 and i wouldn't have to do real calculus.
