I've a theory (based on nothing but my own conjecture) that as owning property has become less attainable, cars have become a way of establishing status, adult progress and permanency through the rite of ownership

I'm grateful to National Library of Scotland and University of Glasgow for support making Childish, and to Cove Park where much of Blame was devised and shot.

Politics is built on speech acts. Why did you enter politics if not with a view to improving the world? If human suffering is unacceptable to you, then use your voice and privilege to act.

When our politicians come back to us yet again with sympathetic words, it is necessary to respond: what are you actually doing to help? What powers are you using to stop a genocide? What else could you be doing to stop people being murdered today?
