08.10.2025 16:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Felt the blistering anger coming from the screen of Stephen's Inside Politics this morning but that didn't mean one line didn't make me really chuckle:
"I can confirm that our existence runs through at least one act of integration, in the main."
Sad news but some wonderful tributes to an amazing actress.
Kitty is one of the most iconic comedy performances of all time.
"I say fixed. A shifty-looking youth in plimsolls waggled my aerial and wolfed my gypsy creams, but thats the comprehensive system for you."
This is an incredible achievement that the Mayor deserves an enormous amount of credit for. He chose what was right over what was easy &, as a result, countless Londoners lives will be saved. Now Labour must make the case for clean air action all over the country.

I approve this message.

Countries around the world need to update their grids and systemes that will allow them to do the same.
Still at GAP summit, Magdalena Anderssen, ex-PM of Sweden, says the UK has set a good international example of how to make the green transition real to people:
'Talk about how this transition brings investment and growth and more jobs to your area.'
At the Global Progress Action summit where Starmer just ended his speech identifying climate as one of the greatest security challenges the UK faces and the only way to 'get the boot of Putin off our neck'.
Interesting link between tackling migration and tackling climate as dual challenges.

We're delighted to invite you to register for LCEF's #Lab25 programme! This year, we're hosting over 18 events in the LCEF x Anacta Hub, covering a wide range of topics from farming to green skills and community energy.
Great to speak at TUC congress on the unhelpful narrative of builders vs blockers. Its not how you take people with you and get development moving in communities.
Thanks to Prospect Union for hosting and their report showing supported regulators on the front foot can be accelerators or growth.
Tho when ive prepared as chair and focussed on pronouncing a name right (particulalrly at welsh party conference) it does always feel a bit like this

01.09.2025 16:48 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Really excited to be bringing a trade union perspective to the LCEF advisory board.
Climate change is a trade union issue, and LCEF have been great champions of a pro-worker, pro-clinate agenda across the movement.
Still have to pinch myself sometimes at the level of talent i get to work with through LCEF. Not to mention the energy and passion to basically make the world a better place.
