Legacy media is dying. Independent media is flourishing. I don’t know about everywhere else but Seattle has 6+ (off the top of my head) great little local media outlets. Most of them have their own little niche and all are seemingly funded and valued.

Electric bikes and electric motorcycles have a lot of blurred lines, especially when most Americans almost never ride either. They lump everything that is not cars into one unnecessary ball of annoyance.

To be fair, they do some good journalism. Especially when it’s not election season.

If we’d had a more rigorous debate on the nitty gritty of running a city in 2020 Harrell never would have been mayor. But that only ever applies when the left has momentum.

When the left wins it’s “ideological drama.” When the conservatives win it’s a “referendum on radical left policymakers.”

Funny how they only ever feature the opinions from one specific group during election seasons.

The @seattletimes.com editorial section is absurd. The thing about editorial sections you need to understand is these are the opinions the papers’ owners want to platform. They clearly assume a significant number of people who read the paper are morons.

This is probably right. Going forward we can assume that law enforcement who remain and enforce unjust laws are probably almost all bad people who are there to inflict harm.

Cities aren’t scary. You’re just easily scared.

This is insane and everyone knows it. Is this Davison’s revenge for getting wrecked in the primary? City leadership is completely responsible for whatever happens.

I feel like this is something we should vote on allowing or not.

With a little luck this might be easier to imagine in Seattle in a few months.
