Heartbroken to hear about the loss of the Lodge at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. In 2022 we took an epic roadtrip with my mom, including a few nights in the cabins on the North Rim. Each morning mom and I drank coffee on the patio behind the lodge. That’s where this pic was taken.

Well, the ski lodge at the bottom of the hill is at 9300 feet, so that helps a bit. We actually had summer snow in town (7300 ft) in 2020!
