Employers are using AI to filter out potential employees. Scammers are already reversing this trend to use AI to apply to jobs.

You just though job hunting was bad. It's about to get WAY worse. Maybe we will be forced to apply for jobs in person like in the 90s?

AI won't live up to the hype but I feel it is about to throw a monkey wrench into the ways we do a lot of things in modern society.

Social media already overrun. What happens when almost every resume employers receive is from an AI? What happens when all of your matches on dating sites are AI?

I went on a field trip in that building in elementary school. It looks like a normal building from the exterior but the inside was more like a huge data center, even 30+ years ago.

I've been looking into tax forfeited properties but most of them are only listed by parcel number without an address. You have to individually look up each parcel.

I just want a single map of with all the properties marked.

This is my first dive into GIS. It's cool. I wish I had an ArcGIS account. I assume if I had that what I'm trying to do would be trivial. Instead I'm scraping the API to generate a KML which I can import into Google Earth. It is a mess.

I think I have it figured out. I've been working on scraping the ArcGIS API (sorry). When I wrote that previous tweet I had most of it working but the parcel shapes were in a format I couldn't figure out. I have since solved it. At least for one county. I bet every county is different. Ugh.

Any GIS gurus out there? I have a list of parcel numbers and a county website where I can individually look up each parcel.

How do create a map of all the parcels at once? Is it possible to export the parcel outlines?

Stable Diffusion... If you have an Nvidia graphics card that will run it, the skills to get it running, and the time to wrap your head around how it works... It will blow your fucking mind.
