it's absolutely critical to understand in this moment that people aren't largely reacting to who Charlie Kirk was as a person, but who they knew him as because of what tiny pieces of him got clipped out and stuck in their newsfeeds.

A friend of mine was on Charlie Kirk's "watch list" of Black professors. She received so many death and rape threats that her university offered her a security detail for the walk to class.

This is Kirk's legacy.

I just realized something about Jordan Peterson. His way of stringing together incoherent statements into a story is the same thinking as a conspiracy theorist. To his adherents, this is not a bug, it’s a feature.
