Haven’t tried, I really like the tidebinders as flash bodies that can help with a beatdown plan b. Orbs might be good in a more tapout style deck but I think current builds of UW really want to keep mana up.

Post-board Tidebinders feel good in that matchup though.

Which build specifically? In my experience Izzet spellementals is a great matchup for UB control but the Ashling decks are trickier, spot removal feels pretty bad against them and they seem pretty resilient and able to recover and stabilize from boardwipes.
