I train Product teams at tech companies and the truth is that 99% of them have no idea how AI would make their product better or easier to use. Every CEO in the country is saying “we are building AI into our product but it’s almost all window dressing at this point.

I messed up my knee and the PT was so lame I went back and said “seriously, I did your “toe lift” a million times and didn’t feel it.

They sent me to a PT for the local pro sports teams and it was an entirely different world, I could barely walk after the 1st visit (but my knee got better).

I’ve made those decisions as a corporate executive and I ALWAYS thought about the impact on the people (most good CEOs do). Sometimes there’s no alternative but you can still be honest, treat people with dignity, and do everything possible to make the outcome less painful.

Some CEOs don’t care.

A nonstop flight from New York to Delhi using the great northern route (which isn’t even halfway around the world) takes 16 hours.

They stopped in Guam (so they took the long way around near the equator) so 40 hours is about right.

U.S. refineries are specifically built to refine Canadian oil. It will take time and a huge amount of money to change the refineries (and the cost of shipping and trucking the crude will be on top of the higher priced oil from overseas).
