This kind of rhetoric increases SA, plain and simple. The Governor is telling incensed, racist, citizens that if they see a Hispanic woman whose immigration status, or whose parents status, they “question,” they are not only allowed, but it is morally virtuous, to SA her. These people are repulsive.

And I get the argument that it was a primary influence for a murder, but so have dozens of things that haven’t been pushed off shelves, or off the internet. Several mass shooters have listed books, political figures, YouTubers as influence. Nothing like this has ever been done. Interesting.

I actually am interested in books on ethics (or the lack thereof) in the healthcare and health insurance systems. I wanted to analyze what about this book was so unique, if it was especially impactful in some way, or similar to what I’ve read before. But nope.

Nobody needs me to tell them that the corporate overlords are controlling what information we have access to but I have noticed ever since the United Healthcare CEO’s killing, nearly all listings for the book “Delay Deny Defend” by Jay Feinman have been taken off of even second-hand websites.

Love the new Creature Commandos series, but it does remind me how the tv/film industry can never escape nepotism because I know Alan Tudyk would have done G.I. Robot far more justice. Fits way better than Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus.

The backstories have been the most spectacular part of this series so far. The Bride and GI Robot are fantastically done. I think it would be great to hint at the power imbalance between The Bride and Victor, she loved him, he was using her. Maybe Frankenstein will later though he’s not much better
