Won’t remove the source of the damp, just the symptoms. We have a small dehumidifier in the cottage to keep the moisture levels down as the ventilation is poor.

Had to do similar in our cottage when we moved in. Was done during a November so just felt damp for months, then lived with half plastered walls for quite a time until we had enough money to completely redecorate. Can still see the new plaster line under the paper in the living room.

I bet it looks even more stunning in real life than how it appears on TV, which is also stunning.

We all like to be liked and that sometimes means some self editing.

Exactly…and the air is clean now, unlike back in the 80s

If we are willing to pay lots of money to have a super capable machine in our homes controlled by Elon Musk we actually don’t deserve to survive as a species.

No, bedroom in the extension of the cottage. It’s going to be a light grey as it currently is, daughter decorated it during lockdown to keep herself busy, so things got a bit splattered πŸ˜‚. Office was done last month.

Must admit I did things at O level which my eldest did at A level so I think the curriculum moves all the time. The thing is if you intend to study subjects at A level that don’t need a certain level of maths then basic numeracy should be enough IMHO.

Hope it goes well, some people just don’t get maths and there has to be a better way for them to move forward. I had to resit English and just scraped a C, always struggled with it cos of un-diagnosed dyslexia. As I got older I developed better coping skills.
