I lived through the 80's. Can confirm.
But was it really living, if I never dressed up as Mark Antony or an astronaut? Poser. Conundrum. Riddle. Enigma.
A fluffy black-and-white cat sitting on a patch of muddy ground. The cat is mostly white, with patches of black, including on its head and ears.
For Caturday, this cat is from the same Roman cat colony as the cat I posted last week. I'm pretty sure that they're related.

The Senate and the House will be ghost towns, with tumbleweeds blowing through the halls. Coyotes will make their dens in the ruins of the White House. America's political class will be wiped out.

But our modern wendigos have publicists & a media eager to tell us that being a wendigo is the best thing possible. That wasn't in the stories.

They did, however, later try & convict him of crimes against humanity for what he did … but only for what he did under Vichy.

I thought he was a friend of theirs, so I took my time, taking photo after photo. He looked a little annoyed, but waited patiently until I was done.
It was Michael Richards.

It's the first time I've seen it in a good number of years. It was pretty heavily iced-over during the polar vortex in 2014.
There's floating ice on the East River too, but it's more scattered, and most of it probably originated in the Hudson anyway.

Also, what dinosaurs do you use? Velociraptors would yield a fairly fast-moving match (if they didn't eat their riders). Apatosaurus polo (or rodeo) would be slower & more contemplative.
