You talk about reliance on one creative player but they are missing Maddison and Kulusevski. That’s two. If they buy another in January then they have a problem once those two are back because you’ll have Simons and newbie and Deki, and ultimately Madders.

Agree on Sarr who was invisible on offense and kept diving in unsuccessfully on defense. Bentancur had his worst game for ages. I thought Bergvall was our best player in the first half.

If we can sign two of this quality for the next 2 or 3 windows then we will have a team to be reckoned with.

You’re exaggerating the size of the UEFA squad dilemma. Bissouma to be sold, Maddison out for the season, Kulusevski not ready to go until January. Takai not fit yet and can get experience in cups and league games. So it’s really Davies or Dragusin and one more. That’s one final one hard choice.

This loan also buys time for Tel Odobert Moore to get experience.
