When you purposely don't define what antisemitism is in your bill, you give way to dishonest actors to attack pro-Palestine students instead.

Under this bill, a student with a watermelon patch on their backpack could be punished. Students who simply say "Free Palestine" can also be punished. A teacher who says Israel is committing genocide could be fired!

There is no question about the need to combat the rise of antisemitism in schools.

Antisemitism has been on the rise in California. No question about that.

However, my opponent's bill #AB715 equates antisemitism with antizionism. It is extremely dangerous to say the two are the same. This will only further antisemitism in this state and make Jewish students even LESS SAFE.
