2. I was a huge Stephen King Constant Reader throughout my teens and early 20s, and I read everything he published up until about 2017. last year I started slowly catching up on the books I missed, of which I thought this was one until I started reading lmao

at the end she goes “yeah…I think I’m gonna break up with my boyfriend”

a couple years ago I did a new years reading for a (new!) friend with a funky deck that has multiple Death cards and I pulled Death 3 or 4 times

anyway, starting off strong with CrimeSong: True Crime Stories From Southern Murder Ballads by Richard H. Underwood. this has been on my want to read list for forever, and did not disappoint

I would not be surprised if it was somewhere around 200, but I have nothing to back that up except the fact that I definitely averaged at least 2 books a week

I do wish I’d started last year, when I was working a job that allowed me to read like 6+ hours a day, because I am deeply curious about my final book count for 2025, but alas

my resolution for the year is to do a better job of keeping track of the books I read. no goals or anything, I just want to know
